It’s that time of year again. The Brown Marmorated Stink Bug is a non-native, invasive species that was introduced to the U.S. in the mid to late 90’s. It is native to China, Japan, Korea and Taiwan. It feeds on tree fruits, small fruits,  legumes, vegetables, and ornamentals. The problem for most home-owners in our area isn’t the damage to fruits or vegetables. Instead, it’s the nuisance aspect of these foreign invaders, seeking shelter from cool nights in fall and winter.
